Tidewater Telecom is providing service free of charge for the first six months.  After the first six months, you will be billed at $69.95/month until the end of the contract. This offer requires a one-year service contract.  After this point, your internet service will be billed at our standard rates.

After your one-year contract is completed following your six months free service and six months billed at $69.95, you can either disconnect service or migrate to one of our standard-priced plans.

The federal funding that Tidewater Telecom is receiving this grant from is required to be used to connect eligible students and teachers.

This offer covers three costs which would normally fall to the costumer.

1. The cost of installation. This cost can vary wildly for Mainers, with some requiring thousands of dollars of fiber runs. The federal funding for this program covers those expensive costs of getting fiber to Maine students and teachers.
2. The wireless router. This program covers the cost of a wireless router that you can use as long as you have OPEN Fiber internet.
3. Six months of free internet and phone service, with an additional six months of our 100 MEG Symmetrical fiber billed at a reduced fee of $69.95/month.

The services included are: 100 MEG Symmetrical Fiber internet, phone service w/1000 minutes of long distance.
